Today we had a swim day! After me and Laramies workout, we decided to take the boys to the pool! It was so much fun! Pierce loved the water, he splashed and loved watching his brother! Rylann loves the water just as much as he did this summer!! He loved jumping in from the side, playing basketball with Daddy, he absolutely loved getting thrown in the air, but most of all he LOVED going down the slide with Daddy!

Dear Pierce,

Today you are already 6 months. Hard to believe that just 6 months ago I was big and huge packing up to head to the hospital to have you. I knew it would be so challenging to have two babies under two. You have made it so easier then I ever thought it would be. Dont get me wrong it is very very very challenging, but you are the best baby. You are so laid back, you have the gummiest best smile, that makes the worst day turn around.

You and your brother are becoming best friends. When me and Daddy take you two to the gym nursery, he will not leave your side. The funniest thing yall do is roll around the floor playing. Most of the time it looks like he is winning, but you just laugh. Yall have so much fun together. It makes me sooooo happy to know that yall will be best friends.

At 6 months old you are :

sooo close to crawling. you are literally doing all the motions just not at the same time. you will be on the move any day now!

you can also go from sitting to laying, it always catches me off guard when I go in to get you after naps or in the morning and you are sitting up!

eating lots!! you still dont take the bottle every time, but you are trying lots of new foods. you like all fruits, you do not all veggies.

you like to eat yogurt bites and puffs. you are so cute!

you recognize mommy and daddy and you get excited to see us!

I am so excited that you are such a happy and healthy baby! I love you with all my heart and cant wait to see you grow up. But if you could slow down just a bit :)

Wow...its been a whole month since I have updated!! Gosh! So much has happened!!

Well, we had an amazing Christmas!! It was very very busy!! We had such a fun time seeing ALL of our family!!! We had such a great time, but at the same time it was nice getting back on our schedule!

Pierce started Parents Day Out at Rylanns school. They both are doing amazing there! It is really cool seeing Rylann play with boys his own age. I think he might be the bully of the group, so hopefully we will meet someone to put him in his place soon! ha! Well I think Pierce is almost there! The boys like to roll around and play fight. You would think Rylann would be the stronger, tougher one. Well lets just say Rylann is always the one who ends up crying lol.

I have started running. It is so hard! I average 2 miles, 6 days a week. I have been doing this for the past 4 weeks, and it has not gotten any easier!! I am going to try and run a race in a few months. I have lots to work on!!

We have been going full force since last week! Lots to catch up on!

Friday night we took the boys to Santaland. Rylann loved it!! For yall not from around here, Santaland is in this big park and they decorate it all up in cartoon characters, like most of the disney characters, cars, handy manny, winnie the pooh, etc. Lots of colors, lots of lights, lots of fun, especially for a 2 year old. He was all over the place, everything was HOTT... hot is his favorite word. Everything is hot, the stove, dishwasher, any kind of lights, the food that is at most, lukewarm that he doesnt want to eat. But anyways, we stood in line to meet Santa for a good 20 minutes, me and Laramie took turns chasing Rylann around. But it just got too cold for us to wait, and the line didnt move one inch!!! So Saturday we FINALLY went and met Santa. The boys did SOO good!!! Rylann surprisingly did wonderful, and was very excited about him!! We have been talking him up for about a month now!

My wonderful, hard working husband won cowboy football tickets at work! So Sunday we woke up (almost 2 hours late, thanks Pierce for choosing that morning to sleep through the night!) dropped the kids off at Laramies moms, and speed to Dallas!! We met my parents for lunch and did some shopping before we headed to the game! It was awesome. That stadium is amazing. I had so much fun!!! It was a very short trip, we had to come Monday. But it was a very very fun day away. Way to go hubby for working so hard!! Thank you.

I missed my babies soo much. It was really hard leaving them. Being a mom is seriously the best thing that has ever happened to me. You really dont know what love really is until you have a child. Its so hard to explain but makes so much sense all at the same time.

Today was Rylanns school Christmas play. I was so excited, I just knew I had the star of the show. Well I will start off by saying, my babies are scheduled babies. If they are off their schedule by one minute, they are just off. Well they had to adjust their nap times, because of the party. No nap= a very frustrated Rylann. During the whole play Rylann managed to scream over all of the singing. All the kids were adorable though, oh well theres always next year!

I have no idea why I was so worried about Rylann not talking. Somebody turned his switch on!!! He wont shush up now!!! He is so funny! Half the time he calls me Sarah. When he does call me mommmy, its usually because hes in trouble and usually that gets him out. (I know, not very good displining, but you have got to hear him say it! its so cute!) Well this afternoon we were coloring, a firetruck goes by our street, and Rylann goes "I love you fire truck" then turns to his brother and says "I love you Piece" (we dont say r's very well). My heart melted!! Not only did we remember what a fire truck was, we love our brother!!!! That will make a mommys day right there!

Merry Christmas!

This week has been wonderful!!! We had a very rough monday, but its been all uphill since then!!

Monday, Rylann was playing and he fell, well usually he pops right up, and starts going again. This time he just layed there. I was in the middle of feeding Pierce carrots, well I heard the fall, looked over and FREAKED out!! I jumped up, throwing the carrots all over Pierce, ran over to Rylann. He finally popped open his eyes after I (what felt like hours) yelled for couple seconds. It was the scariest thing I have ever expierenced! He was fine 5 seconds after it happened! He was either scared he was going to get in trouble, or was just shocked. But reguardless I was a mess(emotionally) and poor Pierce was covered in carrots!

Wednesday, we had a playdate at a friends. I am so impressed on how Rylann plays with kids. He has gotten SO much better about communicating and playing with kids his age. He makes me one proud momma! Speaking of mamma, Rylanns new thing is to continuously say mamma when he gets in trouble. Guess hes pretty smart, because usually it gets him out of trouble! :)

Rylanns first Christmas play is next week! I am beyond excited!!!! IT should be very very entertaining! I will be recording it, and definately posting everything that happens!!!

Pierce had his 4 month wellness check this week also. He is such a big healthy boy!!! He weighs 16 lbs!!! He did awesome with his shots, and he is way ahead of what 4 months are supposed to be doing!! Again, one proud momma!!

Today was my 8 year anniversary at work. I can not believe I have been there that long! I have the best job ever! I love what I do, I love most of patients!!! I am pretty proud of myself for sticking through the good and bad! NOt many 26 year olds can say they have been working at the same office for 8 years!!

We are going to get Santa picture this weekend! Wish me luck!

almost monday already????

This weekend was a blast!

Friday was my work Christmas party. It was so nice to eat a delicious meal without having to entertain 2 kids! I think that was the best part! Then Saturday night we had some old friends over for dinner. We fried a turkey, and had all the sides. We had so much amazing food! We are so lucky to have such great friends that can cook!! It was so fun catching up with everyone. Rylann loved being the center of attention, and at times, he was competiting for time with daddy! Betcha cant guess who won :) Just wanted to say thank you to my amazing sister Bailey, for helping out with Pierce while I did the cooking, theres no way I could have done it without you girl!!! One of our best couple friends have a little girl a month younger then Rylann. They were at our Christmas party, they played so good together this time!! Most of the time my little guy acts like a bully or doesnt share, but they had such a great time and were adorable!! We have already arranged their marriage, lol. Rylann had such a great time I didnt want to force him to go to bed, so he stayed up until everyone left! At about 11, he was so worn out he went and got his pillow and blanket, brought it in the living room and plopped down right in the middle of the room. He wasnt going to miss a thing! He was worn out, he slept in until 11!!! Then today we stayed in most of the day. I am so lucky to have such an amazing husband and 2 fun easy going kids(most of time anyway).

We started reading the Grinch to the boys tonight. I love reading to Rylann, he loves pointing out things in the pictures. The first thing he always points out is if theres a moon, and then if theres an animal he will make the animal noise. Its pretty amusing!

I want to attempt to take Santa pictures this week! I know its going to be miserable taking them!!! So does anybody know of any free ones going on?? Or does anyone want to volunteer dressing up???
