For those who dont know, I started doing photography on the side. It is so much fun, I love it!! I love taking pictures of my children, they are of course the best models. I got this shot of Laramie and the boys this weekend. I absolutely LOVE it!! Laramie is such a wonderful dad. We are so lucky :)

We have been busyyy!! But what else do you expect with two boys under 2! I can only say that for a little bit longer!! Ry is about to turn 2!!!! Mixed emotions about this, I am so happy he is grown to be a very happy, funny, dramatic, but healthy two year old. Hopefully his attitude doesnt get too terrible!!! But he is talking a lot. I can understand alot of what he says, but you can usually understand about half of what comes out of his mouth!! He is a great big brother, he shares what he wants, and always makes "p" laugh! It melts the mommies heart for sure.

Pierce is good, he is crawling and pulling up on everything!!! He even has stood all by himself! No steps yet though!

We are so ready for summer!! One of the boys favorite thing to do is go to the park! They love it, and before you know it, we have been at the park for 2 hours!

Victoria's secret

So 2 posts in one day! I was telling a friend this story earlier today, and figured it was one of those stories, moms could so relate too. And one day when my kids can read, they can see the stuff they put me through!!!

So before Christmas, me and my sister were at the mall with my kids. Rylann was around 18 months and Pierce was around 4 months old. I had the big ole double stroller out, and we had been there about an hour. The kids were doing awesome. Key word in that sentence. were. But I had one more place on the list of places to go. Victoria Secret. So here I go pushing the 10 foot long double stroller into victoria secret, I find what I am needing, get in line to pay for it, and Rylann starts getting fussy. Well he had been doing so good, that I just pick him out of the front of the stroller and put him on the counter when it is our turn to pay. She tells the amount, as I look through my purse...and this always happens, I cant find ANYTHING in my big bag! So trying to keep Rylann happy, I ask him Ry, where is mommys card!!?? He turns and grabs a gift card in the gift card holder sitting next to him on the counter. While grabbing the gift card, he accidently knocks the WHOLE holder off the counter, knocking about...awww...i would say 500 gift cards on the floor. I am mortified, apoligizing like CRAZY trying to grab Rylann off the counter and picking up as many gift cards up as I can. I put Ry back in the stroller, which he is NOT happy about. Well usually i buckle him so he cant go anywhere, well with the disaster that just happened, I forget and continue to apoligize and pick up! Well next thing I know Rylann has wiggled his way down out of the stroller, except he has a huge head, that gets stuck between the tray and the seat. So he starts screaming, and since his feet are on the ground, he starts walking the stroller backwards and runs into a manaquin, and of course knocks it over. With all of that noise, it wakes Pierce up and he starts screaming! I look at over at my boys, then look at the salesclerk, and say "im so sorry" and just walk right out that front door. I go back the next day when my kids are at home with Daddy, just praying that the people that were working the previous day either a. dont work there anymore or b. have a very very short memory.

I now never push my luck.

Aww my boys are crazy!!

Now that pierce is on the move, my lifes crazy!!
I am off on friday afternoons, so today when I got off, I got down on the floor to play with them, I walk into the kitchen real quick to grab something...well all of a sudden I hear Rylann say noooooo...and start whinning. So I run into the living room to see that Pierce has crawled all the way over to his brother, and has stolen Rylann's peanut butter cracker, and has it in his mouth! The only thing I can think is ohhhmyygosh 6 month olds cant have peanut butter yet!!!!!!!! I have a feeling the boys will be getting away with alot!

We dont have much planned for this weekend! Tomorrow we are having a little valentines photoshoot, with some friends and their babies! It should turn out wayy cute!!!

It is beyond cold outside. We havent even got to go play with the snow because it is just TOO cold to go outside!! We made it out there for about 3 minutes to get pictures of Pierce with his first snow! Then we were right back inside!!! All I have heard Rylann say the last 24 hours is I cold...and hes so dramatic when he says it!!

I think we have decided to have Rylanns 2nd birthday party as a chef party!! He loves to cook, and all of his toys turn into cooking in some way or form. Like his drum sticks are spoons, his blocks are food. He is quite creative when it comes to his cooking!

the easy days

What a week!

It has started off so bad!! I have been so motivated and pumped up about working out and running, and Monday I was running on a crappy short treadmill and my foot got caught on the back of teh treadmill and I fell. Right on my knee, it immediately swelled up. Its fine now, my leg is black adn blue and sore but Im lucky that I didnt permanently hurt. But I have taken the week off of working out and it has made me feel blah. Working out is so hard when you are there doing it, but it really does make you feel SO much better. Hopefully I will get to start back up soon. (Fingers crossed)

So my Rylann funny of the week. Yesterday my mom was watching Rylann over at our house, they went outisde and Rylann picked up a piece of tree bark, he carried it around all afternoon. He does this with alot of random things, acorns, rocks etc. So no big deal right. Well he then goes and finds his fake soup can in his kitchen set up, and lays it right on top of Laramies dip can. THen puts the bark right beside it. He was pretending to "dip" like daddy. Its funny, but why do they always pick up the bad habits lol!

Oh I love Saturdays!

Saturdays are such a fun day!! I love getting to stay home with the boys all day!! Rylann loves to sleep in, so it was just me and Pierce for a couple hours! He is learning soo much and is into everything! So this morning when Rylann finally woke up, I leave him and Pierce to play in the living room while I get Rylanns breakfast ready. I come back into the living room to find Rylann sitting on Pierce. I told Rylann to get up and that was mean mean to sit on his brother. THe rest of the morning Rylann walks around saying I mean, I mean. Well at least he admits it!

My sister came over to watch the boys for a couple hours this morning while I got my hair done! I went all dark! I love it!!!! I will admit that I have the best hair dresser!!! While I was getting my hair done, I get a picture from my sister, it was a picture of Rylanns rocking horse, it took me a minute to figure out what was going on, but Rylann kept telling her that his horse pooped and he would go get a diaper out of Pierces room. There was probably 30 of Pierces diapers underneath his horse! Im going to have to post a picture because it is hilarious!! He is at the funniest stage right now!!!

Well I better clean up this house before nap time is over!
